La del domingo fue una mañana bonita. El partido de fútbol sala benéfico organizado por la Fundación Leganés para el Deporte fue todo un éxito. Miguel Melgar (y Javi Callejo) se lo habían currado de lo lindo y salió todo bien. El pabellón Europa registró una gran entrada y jugamos una pachanga interesante. La presencia de David Bustamante fue definitiva para el tirón del acto. El cantante cántabro estuvo bien, pero algo chupón. Luis Amado, el mejor portero de fútbol sala del mundo, jugó junto a Caminero, Sabas, Moya, Mesas, dirigidos por Michel. En ese equipo azul había un Desperdicios, Juni, el resto formamos con el equipo rojo (Teja, Melgar, Kiko, Omar Busta y Mata) junto a Gonzalo Miró, que hizo dos goles, y Petón, que llegó tarde porque venía de jugar una final. Rafa Guerrero arbitró el partido con su arte habitual y fue uno de los más destacados del equipo rojo, el nuestro, vaya. Cayetana Guillén Cuervo y Javi Guerrero hicieron el saque de honor y el alcalde de Leganés quedó muy satisfecho de como se desarrolló el acto solidario.
La cantidad recaudada, junto a 5.000 euros en material deportivo que aportará la Fundación, se destinará en su totalidad a la aldea "La Güera", en el Sahara. La ciudad de Leganés está hermanada con esta población, situada en la región de Tinduf, que es un campamento de refugiados saharauis con carencias en artículos de primera necesidad.
